Dmitry Nikolaevich Stepanov

Born on August 16, 1975 in Syktyvkar in a family of professional musicians.

Graduated from the Syktyvkar Children’s Music School in two specialties – piano, trumpet

In 1991-1993 – student of the College of Arts of the Komi Republic

In 1995 he graduated with honors from the Academic Musical College at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory. P.I. Tchaikovsky in the trumpet class (prof. Yu.A. Usov)

In 2000 he graduated from the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory. P.I. Tchaikovsky in the trumpet class (Prof. Yu. A. Usov, Prof. V. A. Novikov)

Passed military service as part of the First Separate Demonstration Orchestra of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation (Moscow)

Since 1995, artist of symphony orchestras and chamber ensembles, author and organizer of various creative projects in Russia and abroad

Since 2008 – teacher at the State Educational Institution of the Republic of Kazakhstan “College of Arts of the Komi Republic”

In 2009, he completed training under the professional retraining program “Management” at the St. Petersburg State Forest Engineering Academy named after S.M. Kirov

Since 2008 – chief specialist-expert of the department of professional art of the Ministry of Culture of the Komi Republic

From 2011 to 2015 – Head of the Arts Department of the Ministry of Culture of the Komi Republic

In 2014, he was awarded the class rank of the state civil service of the Republic of Komi – State Counselor of the Republic of Komi, second class

According to the results of an open competition, since October 2015, he has been the head of the State Autonomous Institution of the Komi Republic “Opera and Ballet Theater”

In 2017, according to the results of the competition “Base of personnel potential of the Ministry of Culture of Russia”, he entered the Personnel reserve of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation
